In October 2023, several Bollywood actors including Ranbir Kapoor, Sahil Khan, Huma Qureshi, Hina Khan were accused for their involvement in Mahadev betting app case. While the investigation is ongoing, reports are rife that Sahil Khan has applied for anticipatory bail to aid his ailing father.
Sahil Khan applies for bail in the Mahadev betting app case
Bollywood Bubble has exclusively learned that Sahil Khan who is currently on a lookout by Mumbai police in connection with Mahadev Betting case. He has applied for an anticipatory bale ahead of his visit to India from Dubai. The former actor wants to come back to his hometown to aid his ailing father who is suffering from Cancer. As per sources, the actor will have to submit his passport and won’t be arrested until he is produced before court as per the given date.
Other celebs accused in Mahadev betting app case
In October 2023, several actors including Ranbir Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Hina Khan, Bharti Singh, Shraddha Kapoor were booked under section 12(a) of Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act and under sections 66(d), 66(f) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. The Mahadev Betting App is an online game where people can do illegal betting on various online games. The games include poker, card games, chance games, badminton, tennis, football, cricket and others.

On the professional front, Sahil will reunite with Style and Xcuse Me co-star Sharman Joshi. The project will be directed by Sam Khan. Its dialogue and screenplay will be penned by Milap Zaveri. It will have 4 songs and mark debut of an actress. The yet-to-be-titled film is produced by White Lion Motion Picture Production, producer Hitesh Khushalani, and co-produced by Bhuvi Khushalani, Zafar Mehdi, and Ishaan Dutta.
