Omung Kumar’s much awaited narration on the life on Late Sarabjit Singh titled ‘Sarbjit‘ recently made it to the theatres and much to the delight of the star cast, the film managed to receive a good opening at the box-office. After getting a mixed response from the audience as well as critics, Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumar starrer ‘Sarbjit’ managed to mint approximately 7 crore at the box-office by day 2.

According to the reports, ‘Sarbjit’ marked larger number of footfalls at the theatres on the second day and raked in decent amount of money. On Day 1, the film had collected approximately 3 crore nett and on Day 2, the film collected 4 crore. In total, the film has done 7 crore business.

‘Sarbjit’ is a story of an Indian farmer who mistakenly crosses border and gets trapped in Pakistani Jail. His sister Dalbir Kaur played by Aishwarya Rai fights hard to bring him back, but unfortunately Sarabjit succumbs to injuries inflicted on him by his jail-mates after spending 23 years there.
