‘Rustom’ collection drops a bit, yet stays strong on Wednesday

Despite a slight drop in numbers, ‘Rustom‘ movie is still going strong at the box office. The movie has raked in Rs 6 crore on Wednesday which is a drop from the film’s Tuesday collection of Rs 7.50 crore, but it is still not that bad. The total collection of ‘Rustom’ in six days has reached Rs 81 crore and that’s good. We are expecting higher numbers today as it’s Raksha Bandhan.

‘Rustom’ has turned out to be Akshay’s highest first week grosser in just six days as it has crossed the collections of first seven days of ‘Housefull 3’ that was Rs 80 crore nett. In fact, the movie could probably turn out to be the second highest grosser of the year. Even in the second week, the film is expected to do a good business as there’s only one film ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ that stars some known faces slated to release.
