Shah Rukh Khan's 'Fan' first day box office collections

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ released to great reviews on Friday. The film is being lauded for it’s fresh storyline and execution along with the performance of ‘Baadshah’ Khan for his dual act as fan Gaurav and Bollywood superstar Aryan Khanna. As the advance bookings for this movie had registered a great opening, it was certain that this SRK starrer is bound to rule at the box office.

According to Box Office India, the film has managed to record collections of around Rs 20 crore nett as per early estimates. It has beaten the first day collection record of SRK’s last release ‘Dilwale’ in the North India region. The opening in Mumbai and Pune city have also been good in the morning.

Considering the film has done well on it’s opening day, it can be assumed that this Shah Rukh Khan starrer is gearing to break some more records with each passing day.

‘Fan’ is directed by Maneesh Sharma and narrates the plot of a diehard fan Gaurav who turns the biggest nemesis of Bollywood superstar Aryan Khanna after a crucial encounter with him.
