Anurag Basu

Jagga Jasoos‘ director Anurag Basu says that his film is ideal for children. He spoke about the same during the kids dance reality show ‘Dance Ka Kal-Super Dancer’, “When screening of ‘Barfi’ was going on, everybody was happy. And when the trial was going on, I thought everybody would like the movie. But my younger daughter didn’t understand the movie and she was not very impressed. I was upset. So I thought of making a film for children and now Jagga is for children.” He is judging the show along with actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra and choreographer Geeta Kapoor. About his stint as a judge, he said, “I am more of a viewer than a judge. I give my opinion as a viewer. For technical portions, I take help from Geeta (Kapoor). Otherwise, I go with my feeling. Dance is an emotion. If dancer feels the dance I also feel it as a viewer.”
