‘Wajah Tum Ho’ actor Gurmeet Choudhary was originally a television actor who earned fame for his portrayal of Lord Rama in the mythological TV show ‘Ramayan’. Today, he has embraced the big screen with open arms and has movies like ‘Khamoshiyaan’, ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ to his credit. But, the actor is in no mood to return to the small screen. The actor was recently offered two mythological shows but he refused them.

A source close a web portal says, “Gurmeet was recently offered to play the mythological character of Vali from Ramayan for a separate series that is being made for his character. He was also offered to play Arjuna from Mahabharata but he rejected it. Lord Ram’s character made Gurmeet a household name and the actor admits that people still remember him for that. Usually, actors get typecast after playing such characters and Gurmeet doesn’t regret rejecting both the characters.”

Gurmeet too opened up on the same by saying, “It was a great opportunity and an honour to play Lord Rama on screen which people still remember and call me Rama wherever I go. I’m glad that image of mine is still popular. Since I’ve played the biggest mythological character on screen, it will be very difficult for people to accept me as any other mythological character.”

On the work front, Gurmeet will be seen in the erotic mystery drama ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ that will be releasing on December 2, 2017.
