According to sources, Kangana who is slated to play Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi on screen in the movie is involved in the film as an actor and has been giving inputs in the film’s direction as well. If sources are to be believed, Kangana’s constant interference in the film’s direction has slowed down the shoot’s pace. The makers had earlier planned to wrap the film’s shooting schedule by January first week and the films post-production work had to start. But looks like some patchwork of the film is still pending as Kangana wasn’t happy with few scenes and wants them to be shot again. The film is directed by National Award-winning director Krish, who is known for his films down South.

Talking about past, reportedly, Kangana had interfered in the making of her 2016 releases ‘Rangoon’ and ‘Simran’ directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and Hansal Mehta respectively. Both the film’s tanked at the box-office and Kangana was blamed for involving herself too much in the filmmaking process.

Well, we hope the makers manage to finish off the schedule on time and are able to release the film now without any hassle. The film slated to release on April 27, this year.
