Abhishek Bachchan made a startling debut with JP Dutta’s ‘Refugee’, in the year 2000. The movie may not have been a commercial success, but garnered enough praise. The son of Amitabh Bachchan the megastar was stepping into the world of cinema and it was a big feat.

Even though he delivered quite a few flops after it, he soon picked up with his movies like ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, ‘Yuva’, ‘Guru’ and more, which earned him accolades aplenty.

However, his career soon went downhill. Younger actors took over the reigns, and the ones with him went way ahead, making us wonder as to what went wrong with the brilliant actor who once wooed us on the celluloid with his unique presence.

But looks like now wifey Aishwarya has taken over the responsibility of revamping Abhishek’s career.

We all are aware of Aishwarya Rai’s history with Salman Khan. The two were in a relationship for a long time before Aishwarya opened up on Salman’s abusive and violent nature, and the two parted ways. They still maintain a safe distance. However, looks like that there is going to be a common angle between Aishwarya and Salman now. If reports are anything to go by, Aishwarya has hired Salman Khan’s ex-manager to boost Abhishek’s sinking career.

A source close to the Bachchan’s stated to Deccan Chronicle, “Aishwarya felt Abhishek Bachchan’s career needed a small push to catapult him to the top bracket once again. Of late, he hasn’t signed new films and is choosing to focus on the best possible projects. Following his revamped priorities, his first new project will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biopic on poet-lyricist, Sahir Ludhianvi. Reshma has been brought in to oversee Abhishek’s forthcoming career moves and to position him as a prominent entertainment brand.

Well, if that is the case, we hope it does something good for Abhishek. We love him as an actor and can’t wait to see him back in action on screen.
