Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is firing on all cylinders, isn’t he? The Khiladi Kumar recently interviewed Indian PM Narendra Modi and it has grabbed national headlines. A source quoted by PinkVilla said, “It’s an action adventure-based series and the theme completely suits Akshay’s image. When the team was in the planning stage, the only actor they could think of was Akki. He’s called the Khiladi for a reason, and with this show, he will be seen pulling off stunts on a level that has only been attempted on an international level.”

The source further adds, “It is being planned as a three-part series. As of now, the show will span across three years – each season having around six episodes (depending on the run-time of each episode). The first season will go on floors sometime this year, after Akshay wraps up work on the ‘Kanchana remake’. The superstar has given around a month to the OTT platform for its shoot. It is expected to premiere next year.”

Akshay Kumar has proved his mettle and that’s why he has been getting paid big bucks for this series. Akki’s last theatrical release ‘Kesari’ has done very well at the box-office.
