Deepika-Ranveer to have colour co-ordinated wedding functions?
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to tie the knot after six years of dating each other. The lovebirds took to their social media handle and issued a statement about their impending wedding that will take place on November 14 and 15 this year at Villa Del Balbianello which overlooks Lake Como in Italy.
Though not much is known of their wedding details, here are a few details that we would love to share with the ‘RamLeela’ jodi’s fans. The ‘Padmaavat’ stars are tying the knot as per Kannadiga as well as Sindhi rituals. They have also issued a no phone policy at the venue in Italy.
As per a Filmfare report, Deepika Padukone will be dressed in a Sabyasachi ensemble for her wedding and her family members will also wear Sabyasachi outfits for all the functions that will be colour coordinated. Apparently, even the waiters for the wedding functions have been given specific colour palettes for their uniforms to match with the theme of the wedding ceremonies.
Post marriage, Deepika and Ranveer will host two receptions – one in Bangalore and the other at Mumbai for their family and friends. Ranveer and Deepika will apparently take three weeks off post their marriage. The three weeks off will be taken after the couple host their reception in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh has Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ with Sara Ali Khan and Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ co-starring Alia Bhatt all set to hit theatres. Deepika’s next, a biopic on acid attack victim Laxmi Agarwal, will go on floors next year.
