However, here’s a twist. We all know that ‘Kedarnath’ was supposed to be Sara’s big Bollywood debut but with her entry into the ‘Simmba’ gang we had a big question mark whether it will be ‘Kedarnath’ or ‘Simmba’ that will prove to be her maiden onscreen film. There have been reports of ‘Kedarnath’ being pushed to 2019 because of a tiff between the producers and the director, but nothing was confirmed. So we did a little digging around and we can exclusively confirm that Sara Ali Khan’s debut film will be ‘Simmba’ and not ‘Kedarnath’. Our sources close to the ‘Kedarnath’ camp revealed that their film is pushed to 2019 and hence ‘Simmba’ by default will be Sara’s first film. The release date of ‘Simmba’ has already been announced, that of 28th December 2018. (Also Read: Kedarnath is on track! Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput meet up for a script reading session)

The spat between the producers and director Abhishek Kapoor of ‘Kedarnath’ has been out in open. Earlier also the producers were not too keen on clashing with SRK’s ‘ZERO’ which is slated to release on 21st December 2018. Now, it will be interesting to see if Sara has a meaty role in ‘Simmba’ to prove her mettle as an actress because apart from Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone, no other actresses have ever got a lengthy role in a Rohit Shetty film.
