EXCLUSIVE: Sushant Singh Rajput missed an award show due to THIS reason?
It was a star studded affair last night where the who’s who of Bollywood made their presence felt in their best of attires at Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017. However, actor Sushant Singh Rajput decided to give the awards night a skip.
According to sources, Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to attend the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017, but the presence of his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande and his current rumored girlfriend Kriti Sanon made him skip the big gala night. For the record, Kriti Sanon bagged the Future of Fashion Award in the female category whereas Sushant won it in the Male category but was not present in person to receive the award. Sources reveal that, Sushant wanted to avoid any sort of drama or controversy at the award night as his ex-girlfriend of long time Ankita Lokhande and his current rumored girlfriend Kriti Sanon were present under one roof and he wanted to avoid any awkwardness. For those who came late, Sushant was in a live-in relationship with his ‘Pavitra Rishta’ co-star Ankita Lokhande for years but the two gradually parted ways once Sushant made a permanent move to Bollywood. Soon, the news of Sushant and Kriti’s closeness on sets started floating around post the two started working for their first film ‘Raabta’ together and there were also reports of how Kriti Sanon was responsible for Ankita and Sushant’s breakup.
Well, full marks to Sushant as he played it safe and smartly chose to give the event a miss rather than being stuck between the two ladies.
On the work front, Ankita Lokhande will soon be making her silver screen debut with ‘Manikarnika : The Queen of Jhansi’ whereas after a superb response to her last release ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, Kriti Sanon will be seen essaying the role of a journalist in ‘Arjun Patiala’ opposite Diljit Dosanjh. Talking of Sushant Singh Rajput, he is currently shooting for director Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’ which marks Sara Ali Khan’s debut in Bollywood.
