Apart from Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor‘s performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’, we all discussed a lot about the fees that they charged to do this film. Very proudly, Deepika announced to the world that she charged more than her male counterparts for this film as she deserved to be paid that well. But now looks like her ‘rumoured’ boyfriend wants to match up to her level.

Reports have it that after the success of ‘Padmaavat’, Ranveer Singh has hiked his fees. A report in Deccan Chronicle says that Ranveer has hiked his fees to whopping Rs 13 crore. Now that is the amount Deepika charged for being Queen Padmavati in ‘Padmaavat’. (Also Read: Ranveer Singh on marriage with Deepika: It’s on my mind, but nothing decisive)

We don’t know how much of this is true, but then with the kind of performance Ranveer has delivered in ‘Padmaavat’, a little raise is deserved.

Workwise, he will next be seen in ‘Gully Boy’.

Salman has hosted a couple of TV shows, and now, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the actor is all set to produce a TV show which will revolve around cops. A source told the tabloid, “Salman is already on board for season three of ‘Dus Ka Dum’ which is expected to go on air in June. Talks have been on for a fiction show with Sony for some time now. Casting is expected to begin soon and if everything works out as planned, it will go on air by the year end.”

This is not the first time when we have heard the reports of Salman turning a producer on television. Last year, there were reports that he will be producing a TV show based on the life of Gama Pahlawan and his brother, Sohail Khan would be playing the lead role. However, till now, there has been no development on it yet.

Talking about Salman’s movies, the actor will next be seen in ‘Race 3’ which is slated to hit the screens on Eid this year. (Also read: Good news for Salman Khan fans, ‘Kick 2’ to go on floors from January 2019. Details inside!)

EXCLUSIVE: Post the dull response to 'Aiyaary', Sidharth Malhotra's brand deals in trouble?

Actor Sidharth Malhotra seems to be going through a rough patch in his career. The actor who had a dream Bollywood debut with director Karan Johar‘s ‘Student Of The Year‘ along with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt seems to be facing a downfall in his career. The actor’s 2017 releases ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ and ‘A Gentleman’ were a dud at box office, and the latest ‘Aiyaary’, which released after many date changes too is receiving a lukewarm response at the box office.

And looks like the it’s going to be tougher for the ‘Ek Villain‘ star. According to sources, brands which are associated with Sidharth are not very keen on continuing with the star as they feel his performance at the box office is going down with every film. Instead, these brands are now interested in having other young stars like Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff on board as they are the youth icons and their films have been doing really well at the box office. Few brands, the contracts of which are to be renewed soon, are even planning to end their deal with the ‘Aiyaary’ star.

If we talk about Sidharth, his last hit was ‘Kapoor & Sons’ (2016), a multi-starrer venture where he shared screen space with Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and more. His last solo hero film which fared averagely at the box office was ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ (2014) and post that the actor has had back to back duds. Looks like Sidharth really needs to buck-up with his choice of films as he cannot afford anymore hiccups in his career. We wish him all the luck.
