Alia Bhatt: I was shell shocked to read I am Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt’s daughter

Newbie actress Alia Bhatt has become the talk of the town with her performance in ‘Highway’ and now she is busy promoting her next ‘2 States’. Alia is known as the chip of the old block as just like her filmmaker father Mahesh Bhatt she too is known for her candidness.

Recently there was a weird rumour that Alia Bhatt is Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt’s dauhgter – Pooja being her sister and Mahesh Bhatt’s Daughter from first marriage.

As per sources Alia said, “I was shell shocked to read this, but what can you do except for rubbishing it. I was asked a question about my father’s second marriage and I said it’s not something that has affected me as a child or probably I never gave importance to it. Next thing I see is it’s written that I am Pooja and Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter. It’s ridiculous! I think the person who wrote this should get his brains diagnosed; I feel sorry for him.”
