Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. The actor’s death case has been transferred to the CBI who have taken assistance from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), forensic team, for the medical investigation of the case. And seems like the results will be conclusive which will be shared with the CBI.

As per a report in IANS, forensic experts of AIIMS have found discrepancies in the crime scene description and inquest report filed by the Mumbai police in the actor’s death case. However, since the case is subjudice specific forensic findings cannot be revealed at this stage.

According to a report by IANS, sources in the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology (AIIMS) have revealed, “If an inquest report, which carries crucial details about the circumstances in which one died, has certain discrepancies then it could be an important finding. However as the matter is subjudice, specific forensic findings cannot be shared.”

The Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, AIIMS, Dr Sudhir Gupta spoke about the finding, as he said, “At this stage, I can only say that the opinion of the medical board will clear all doubts.” The findings will have a conclusive opinion on Sushant’s death and the conclusive findings from the re-examination will be shared with the CBI. However, Gupta refused to comment on the nature of discrepancies found while conducting the autopsy or other forensic investigations.

Sushant allegedly died by suicide as he hung himself from the ceiling of his Bandra residence. But, the late actor’s family believes it was a murder. The investigation is currently underway. The drug probe that had emerged in relation to the case has had Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda and other drug peddlers arrested by the NCB so far.
