Shahid Kapoor With Prabhu Deva

Shahid Kapoor needed a raw and rugged body for his movie Rambo Raajkumar that is what Prabhu Deva felt but how to bring it about was the biggest challenge as Shahid Kapoor is a Vegetarian.

The actor went through arigorous training of mixed martial arts and Parkour to get flexibility .

According to sources, Prabhu Devaa said to Shahid’s trainer Abbas Ali “Make him look raw but not overly chiselled”. Abbas Ali said “The biggest limitation was that Shahid is a vegetarian. I had to customise a diet in such a way that he gets the desired look, with a lot more focus on the regular dal, subzi, cottage cheese, brown rice, salad and yoghurt.”

Shahid too worked hard ,his day used to start at 5 in the morning, followed by an intensive 90-minute workout session, After finishing the day’s shoot, the actor would return to the hotel, and head straight to the gym, sweating out till 11 in the night.
