Salman Khan, Arijit Singh

The much-hyped war of 2016 between Salman Khan and Arijit Singh wasn’t an unforgettable one. Singer Arijit Singh had taken a dig at Salman Khan’s hosting skills at an awards show years ago which cost him dearly. His version of ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ in ‘Sultan’ was instantly replaced by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s version of the song.

Arijit even posted an apology note on Facebook addressing Salman, but the actor didn’t pay any heed to his apology and instead termed it as a smart move. Then there were rumours of singer Arijit Singh refusing to sing for Salman Khan. But, those rumours died down when news of Arijit Singh crooning a song in ‘Tubelight’ came to light.

Now, it looks like the war between Salman and Arijit Singh has ended. At the recently held Stardust Awards Night, Arijit Singh was singing the melodious track ‘Channa Mereya’ from ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ on stage, when he came a bit close to the edge of the stage and bowed to Salman Khan (who was seated in the auditorium) in respect. Salman smiled in response and nodded his head. This incident has fuelled speculations that all is surely well between the two.

Otherwise, Salman is someone who seldom forgives anybody. Remember the incident when Vivek Oberoi had publicly apologized to Salman on stage and Salman had ignored it blatantly? The fact that he nodded his head in reciprocation hints that he has forgiven Arijit Singh and let bygones by bygones.
