Sonam Kapoor at Cannes 2017

We witnessed two of our Bollywood divas showcasing their style file at the Cannes 2017. Deepika Padukone already dazzled the red carpet at the famous Film Festival, this year with her ravishing looks. While, forever beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also floored everyone with her gorgeously designed outfits at the prestigious event. And now it’s the turn of Sonam Kapoor, who will soon grace the red carpet in the French Riviera.

Sonam Kapoor, 31, left Mumbai on Friday night, 19th of May, with her sister Rhea Kapoor. The ‘Neerja’ actress was spotted in a no-makeup look and was dressed comfortably in a solid white coloured baggy cropped shirt paired with black palazzos. While, her sister, Rhea was sporting a denim shirt over a black dress. (Also Read: Slaying it like nobody’s business! Shruti Haasan’s mesmerising Cannes red carpet appearances)

On Saturday, May 20, Sonam landed in Cannes for the international film festival with Rhea Kapoor, and much to everyone’s surprise, her first look popped up much before anyone was expecting it. However, she had to squeeze in media interactions a day early. This resulted in her stepping out in a saree by Nor Black Nor White.

India’s bona fide fashionista, Sonam pulled-off the prismatic saree with a lot of ease and that’s not something many individuals boast of. She balanced her outfit with an ivory-hued cropped-blouse and minimal accessories. Sonam’s trusted makeup artist, Namrata Soni, ensured that things don’t go hideous at any point.

Also, it’s quite visible that Sonam Kapoor’s fashion outing till now (from Mumbai airport to her Cannes media interaction) is very lukewarm. We hope that she ups her style game soon or else you never know she can be titled as one of the worst dressed from Cannes this year.

Lastly, so now that Sonam’s Cannes season has started on such an experimental note, we wonder what more she has in store for us. Stay glued!
