Shah Rukh Khan, Vikrant Massey and Rani Mukerji have just won their first National Film Awards at the 71st function for their films, Jawan, 12th Fail and Mrs Chatterjee VS Norway. The awards were announced by the jury last month, and today, the winners will receive their prize from President Droupadi Murmu. The National Film Awards are considered the most prestigious prize for cinema in India, and honour films in all 18 official languages of the country and beyond. The prizes are being given at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi.

Rani Mukerji
Rani Mukerji received the National Award in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category. She came to the stage dressed in a stunning brown saree featuring broad borders. Before entering the stage, the actress touched the stage in honour and later received the award from President Droupadi Murmu.
