AA22 X A6: Atlee Calls Deepika Padukone His Lucky Charm; Teases, “You Are Going To See A Different Deepika”

Filmmaker Atlee has hinted that his upcoming Telugu action film, tentatively titled AA22xA6, will be “something really big for everyone.” Sharing an update on the project, he discussed the lead stars Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, while also suggesting that audiences might see a new side of Deepika following her journey into motherhood. Currently working with Allu Arjun on this highly anticipated film, Atlee revealed that the team is putting in sleepless nights to make it a success.

During an interview with India Today, Atlee spoke about his upcoming film A22XA6 as he updated on working with lead actors Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone. During the conversation, he spoke about their sleepless nights as they are making something ‘really big for everyone’. He further added that Deepika is his lucky charm as he is excited for their second project. “And I think after motherhood, she’s starting this film, and you are going to see a very different Deepika for sure,” he added.

About AA22xA6

This high-octane entertainer is said to explore the concept of a parallel universe. It will feature several innovative elements, with backing from international studios. The film is rumored to include actresses Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur in the ensemble cast. Additionally, Allu Arjun might take on a quadruple role, marking his first film featuring multiple avatars on such a grand scale. While Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024), Deepika Padukone appeared in Singham Again (2024).

The first part of the film is expected to release by the end of 2026. The second part possibly going into production in 2027. This multi-part storytelling approach is similar to recent trends, like Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. The first installment was released in 2025 and the sequel is scheduled for March 19, 2026.
