Finally, the wait is over! The much-awaited fire glimpse of the bilingual action-drama Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha is here, offering a thrilling peek into its high-octane world filled with intense action and gripping drama. And along with it is the film’s grand, pan-India release date.

Adivi Sesh, Mrunal Thakur’s Dacoit Gets A Release Date

Starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha is all set for a grand pan-India theatrical release on December, 25, 2025.

Talking about the film, Dacoit promises an electrifying cinematic experience that blends intense action, raw emotion, and high-stakes drama. The film will follow the journey of an enraged convict seeking revenge on his ex-girlfriend, who betrayed him. As he devises a dangerous plan to trap her, the story unfolds into an emotionally charged saga of love, betrayal, and vengeance.

Aside from Sesh and Thakur, the actioner will also star acclaimed director and actor Anurag Kashyap as a fearless inspector who is a staunch Ayyappa devotee with no tolerance for corruption.

About Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha

Directed by Shaneil Deo, this ambitious project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. The film is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. Dacoit’s story and screenplay is jointly written by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. Currently, filming is underway in Hyderabad, followed by an extensive schedule in Maharashtra. The film will release in theatres on Christmas this year, aka December 25.
