Ahan Shetty has officially wrapped his final schedule for the highly anticipated war drama Border 2, and he took to social media to share a deeply emotional reflection on his journey. Marking the conclusion of his Amritsar shoot, the young actor expressed heartfelt gratitude for co-star Varun Dhawan and the memorable Border 2 experience.

Ahan Shetty Wraps Up Border 2 Shoot

Sharing a video bidding farewell to the cast and crew in Amritsar, Ahan gave fans a glimpse into what this journey meant to him. “That’s a wrap for me in Amritsar and my last day shooting with VD. It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me, because it’s been more than just work. It’s been growth, learning, laughter, and memories I’ll carry for life,” he wrote, capturing the depth of his feelings.

He also praised Varun Dhawan, calling him a mentor and an elder brother on set. “From the very first day on set, VD made me feel at home. No ego, no airs, just pure warmth. He guided me, checked in on me without being asked, and supported me in a way only an older brother would. It takes someone truly secure and generous to do that and that’s exactly who he is. He’s one of the biggest stars we have, but beyond the cameras, lights, and stardom, it’s the kindness, the humility, and the heart he brings that truly sets him apart,” Ahan shared.

Reflecting on how this experience has shaped him, Ahan added, “I’ve learnt more by just being around him. Watching how he carries himself, how he treats people, it sets him apart. This experience has changed me and a big part of that is because of him. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. Thank you brother. This one will stay with me.”

He capped off the note with a tease for the next phase: “On to the next one… Next sched is a BIG ONE ????????” Responding warmly, Varun Dhawan wrote, “Brother will misss u here only upwards and beyond for u meraaa bhai.”

Ahan’s wrap comes shortly after Diljit Dosanjh shared a celebratory video from the sets, distributing laddoos to mark the end of his shoot, adding to the festive mood around the project.
