In a social media post accompanying the teaser, Ajay Devgn shared, “74th Raid, 4200 Crores. Iss baar baazi hogi sabse badi! (sic).” The first installment of Raid, which featured Ileana D’Cruz, drew inspiration from an actual income tax raid that took place in the 1980s.

The teaser of Raid 2 takes us back to the thrilling moments of Devgn’s character, Amay, as he previously stormed into Saurabh Shukla’s Rameshwar Singh’s residence, uncovering a stash of black money concealed within a temple. With Singh now behind bars, Amay is gearing up for his 75th operation, targeting a formidable politician played by Deshmukh. In this gripping one-minute sneak peek, the fiery exchange between Deshmukh and Devgn’s character hints at a captivating blend of action, suspense, and high-stakes drama in Raid 2.

Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar under their banner T-Series and Panorama Studios. It’ll be a treat to watch Ajay as Amay Patnaik again. On the other hand, Ajay also has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again in the pipeline. The actor will be reprising his role of Bajirao Singham in the upcoming movie. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is set to release theatrically on 1st May 2025.
