Ajay Devgn Marks 28th Anniversary Of Ishq

To mark the occasion, Ajay shared three pictures on Instagram: a still from Ishq, a wedding photo with Kajol, and a recent family picture with their children, Nysa and Yug. He captioned the post, “Jaise hua acha hi hua hai… #28YearsOfIshq.” Each photo was paired with a thoughtful line: “Ishq Hua,” “Kaise Hua,” and “Acha Hua”, forming a sweet timeline of their relationship.

Ishq, directed by Indra Kumar, starred Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Aamir Khan, and Juhi Chawla. Released on November 28, 1997, the film became a blockbuster, earning over Rs 500 million worldwide and becoming the third highest-grossing Hindi film of that year. The chemistry between Ajay and Kajol was one of the highlights that fans still remember fondly.

Ajay and Kajol’s real-life love story began on the sets of the 1995 film Hulchul, which Kajol joined after the tragic death of actress Divya Bharti. The couple dated quietly for four years before getting married on February 24, 1999, in a private ceremony at Ajay’s Mumbai home. They later took a long European honeymoon.

Today, they are proud parents to two children, daughter Nysa, born in 2003, and son Yug, born in 2010. Ajay’s tribute beautifully captures how Ishq will always hold a special place in their journey as a couple and as a family.
