Alia Bhatt Calls Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana Rama Teaser 'Out Of The World'

Ahead of the highly anticipated launch of the Ramayana Rama glimpse, Alia Bhatt shared her excitement and praised her husband Ranbir Kapoor’s performance, calling it “beautiful.” Fans have been eagerly awaiting any update on Ranbir Kapoor’s epic project, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, and the wait is finally coming to an end. The makers are all set to unveil the first glimpse of Lord Rama on Hanuman Jayanti.

In a virtual interaction with fans, Alia Bhatt expressed her enthusiasm about the upcoming Rama teaser. She said, “The Ramayana unit is going to be out tomorrow. It’s called the Rama unit. I’ll be posting it on my social media, so please go out there and support it.”

She also shared her admiration for Ranbir’s performance, saying, “It’s absolutely fabulous. I think Ranbir has done such a beautiful job, and I can’t wait for you all to see it. It’s truly out of this world.”

Ramayana Rama Teaser

Fans were expecting an update from Ramayana on Ram Navami. However, the makers did not release any footage at that time. Later, producer Namit Malhotra announced on social media that the next glimpse, titled Rama. It would be revealed on Hanuman Jayanti, April 2 today, during a grand worldwide event. Before this, a three-minute teaser of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana was released on July 3, 2025.

About Ramayana

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is planned as a two-part epic set 5,000 years ago. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. Also seen will be Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lord Lakshman. The first part is scheduled for release during Diwali 2026, with the second following in Diwali 2027. Expectations are sky-high for this ambitious retelling of India’s revered mythological tale.
