Amitabh Bachchan heaped praise on his son Abhishek Bachchan after his major achievement, in an heartfelt post on Instagram. The Goodbye actor said he is proud of his son. He penned a long note and said he is proud of Abhishek’s achievements, despite being ‘ridiculed and mocked’.

Taking to his Instagram, Amitabh Bachchan said he is proud of son Abhishek Bachchan after he bagged the Best Actor Award for his performance in the movie Dasvi. Sr Bachchan in his note called Abhishek his ‘pride, joy’ and said he has proved his point. He said that the Dasvi actor has showed his mettle as an actor and called him the ‘best’.

In his note, Big B wrote, “My pride .. my joy .. you have proved your point .. you were derided , ridiculed mocked .. but you silently without any tom tomming , showed your mettle .. you are and shall ever be the BEST .. (red heart icon) .. and remember WHTCTW .. (3bicep flex emojis).”

Taking to the comments section of the post, one user wrote, “Deserved it Abhishek Bacchan simply rocked in it…superb acting and a very sensible script.. Meanwhile, in the movie Dasvi, Abhishek played the role of Ganga Ram Chaudhary, a politician. The film also featured Yami Gautam and Nimrit Kaur.

On the work front, Jr Bachchan was last seen in the web series, Breathe: Into the Shadows season 2. Big B on the other hand was last seen in Uunchai. And, he has Project K and The Intern in his kitty.
