Anshula Thanks Sisters Janhvi, Khushi Kapoor For Being Her ‘Built-In Cheerleaders’; Shares Sweet GRWM Video From Engagement- Watch

On October 2, Anushla Kapoor got engaged to her Rohan Thakkar. The function was a low-key,, intimate affair that saw Anuhula’s father, producer Boney Kapoor, brother Arjun Kapoor, half sisters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, and a few more family members in attendance. Now, days after dropping pictures from the celebration, the newly engaged Kapoor has shared a sweet video with her ‘cheerleader; sisters.

Anshula Kapoor Pens Love-Filled Note For Sisters Janhvi, Khushi

In the video shared, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are seen lovingly braiding her hair and untangling her paranda. For the unversed, a paranda is a traditional Punjabi hair accessory consisting of a long bunch of threads with decorative tassels used to embellish a woman’s braid. While the actresses continue to help their sibling, Anshula beams with joys. Sharing a sweet GRWM video of Janhvi and Khushi helping her with her paranda, Anshula wrote, “Didn’t know how much I needed their quiet kind of love until I had it. The kind that doesn’t need words – just a hug at the right time, a hand that reaches to hold mine, a look that says “we’ve got you”.”

Thanking them for their love and support, Anshula further wrote, “The kind that shows up softly, but stays loud in my heart.. My sounding boards, my built-in cheerleaders, my unspoken comfort. Thank you for being my soft place to land, always. ILY my @janhvikapoor @khushikapoor”

Reciprocating the love, Khushi replied to the post with “I love u” and a white heart emoji. Social media users also took to the comment section and praised the heartwarming bond Anshula, Janhvi, and Khushi share. Several praised their sisterhood, calling it a beautiful example of love and support in a blended family.

Anshula-Rohan’s Engagement

On Saturday, just days after her engagement to writer Rohan Thakkar, Anshula Kapoor took to her Instagram account and shared the first pictures of their Gor Dhana. Gor Dhana is a Gujarati pre-wedding ceremony similar to an engagement. The post included several pictures, including family portrays of her with her father Boney Kapoor, brother Arjun Kapoor, and half-sisters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.

In her caption, Anshula wrote, “02/10/2025 This wasn’t just our Gor Dhana, it was love showing up in every little detail. Ro’s favourite words have always been ‘Always and Forever’ – and today, they started to feel real in the sweetest way. His love makes me believe fairytales don’t just live in books, they live in moments like these.” She further reflected, “A room overflowing with laughter, hugs, blessings, and the people who make our world feel full. And then, Ma’s love… quietly wrapping itself around us. In her flowers, in her words, in her seat, in the way her presence could still be felt everywhere. All I remember is looking around and thinking: this is what forever should feel like. Rab raakha.”

Since then, Anshula has shared a couple more video glimpses of her special day. Anshula and Rohan met through a dating app in 2022, and in July of this year, Rohan proposed to her in Central Park, New York.
