63-year-old Anupam Kher is not just an actor but an institution in himself. He marked his Bollywood debut with Mahesh Bhatt‘s ‘Saaransh’ in 1984, and even went on to bag the ‘Filmfare Award for Best Actor’. Now, 34 years later, Anupam Kher says that he is equally excited and nervous to start the shoot of his American series, ‘New Amsterdam’. Read on to know why.
Anupam is all set to feature in the medical drama, ‘New Amsterdam’ in which he will be seen playing Dr Vijay Kapoor, a neurologist. The actor had already shot for the pilot of the show a few months back and now he begins shooting for the series.
Before kickstarting the series, Anupam, who is quite active on his social media handle, took to his Instagram account and posted a video with a caption, “A new Beginning on the 1st of August, 2018. In the video, the veteran actor can be heard saying that he is all set to start a new acting career, with this new show. He further adds, “I want to do good. I represent India my country and I want to be really brilliant, for that apart from my hard work, I need your wishes and blessings. I will do my best. Jai Ho. “
