Arjun Kapoor has found a fun way to turn internet jokes into business. Known for laughing at himself, the actor has now starred in a new ice cream commercial based entirely on his popular poker-face meme. This meme started in 2017, during promotions for his film Half Girlfriend, where his emotionless expression became a popular reaction clip online.
Arjun Kapoor Takes A Dig At His Viral Angry Meme
In the new ad, Arjun uses the same blank face in funny everyday situations like waiting at a restaurant, getting a gift, or even hurting himself while cooking. But after taking a bite of ice cream, he suddenly bursts into laughter, dances, and shows every emotion—turning the joke around in a fun twist.
Fans and celebrities loved it. Gulshan Devaiah called it “Reverse UNO,” while Varun Dhawan said “Superb.” Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar dropped laughing emojis. His sister Anshula commented, “Haha, too good.”
People on social media joked about how Arjun turned a meme into money, saying things like, “Tum log memes banaate reh gaye, ye Aadmi usse bhi paisa kama gaya!” Another added, “This comeback is sweet and savage.”
Earlier, Arjun had even disabled Instagram comments because fans kept spamming him with the same GIF. But now, with this clever ad, he has reopened comments and joined the fun.
On the work front, Arjun was last seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi with Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. He has finished filming the Delhi schedule of his next project with director Mudassar Aziz. Up next, Arjun will be seen in No Entry 2, alongside Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. The sequel is being produced by his father, Boney Kapoor. Tamannaah Bhatia may also join the cast, though it’s not officially confirmed yet.
