The match ended with India defeating Pakistan by 61 runs in a grudge Group A match. Taking to X (formerly twitter), Ajay Devgn wrote, “This brilliant team makes winning look like a cakewalk. Kya khela hai (What a game)! (Raised hands and national flag emojis).”

Sharing a bunch of images of the scoreboard and the players on the field on his Instagram handle, Arjun Rampal wrote, “Done and dusted. Senior actor Anupam Kher posted a video celebrating India defeating Pakistan. In the clip, Anupam can be heard laughing loudly and chanting the name of the Lord. He simply captioned the post, “Har Har Mahadev! Hail Bholenath. #INDvsPAK.”

Vivek Oberoi, Anil Kapoor React To India Trashing Pakistan In T20 World Cup Match

Anil Kapoor took to his X account and posted a picture of the Indian cricket team to celebrate their win. He wrote, “And that’s how it’s done (National Flag, punch and raised hands emojis). Super proud @indiancricketteam.” Khushbu Sundar wrote on the same platform, “And we win !!!! #India at the top, always.”

Vivek Oberoi joyfully wrote on the micro-blogging site, “Ye mauka bhi..….gaya (This chance was also lost). Absolute mammoth 77 off 40 balls by Ishan Kishan and kicka** early wickets by @Jaspritbumrah93 and @hardikpandya7. My ears are ringing from my own screaming throughout the match! Malayalam actor Mammootty also took to X and tweeted, “Congratulations to the Indian Cricket Team on their victory over Pakistan at the ICC Men’s #T20WorldCup2026. A proud moment for the nation.”

Held in Sri Lankha, the T20 World Cup match saw India win against Pakistan by 61 runs. Opener Ishan Kishan’s breakneck 77 of just 40 balls played a pivotal part in India setting an impressive 175-7 at the R Premadasa Stadium. The bowlers too impressed by taking all 10 wickets in just 18 overs, leading to Pakistan ending the game with just 114 run on the board.
