Before wrapping up its shoot in January, the cast and crew of Cocktail 2 filmed a lively special number in Mumbai, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon — injecting a burst of colour into what is otherwise a dark and intense story. The energetic song was shot before Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Devarakonda’s wedding, providing a lighter contrast to the film’s edgy narrative.

Cocktail 2 Features Peppy Dance Number?

A source close to the production shared with Mid-Day, “Cocktail 2 is about love, betrayal, and revenge. Rashmika and Kriti’s characters have more depth, and to balance the film’s intensity, there are several peppy dance tracks.” The source added that the song’s setting revolves around an engagement ceremony. Composed by Pritam, the track is an original piece, and the team built a massive set at Film City specifically for the shoot.

The cast also shot a final club number before the schedule concluded. “Pritam has created some fantastic music for this film, including a fun, upbeat club song featuring the three leads. We shot this in Film City,” the source explained, noting that all the songs were finalised and locked before Rashmika Mandanna’s wedding with Vijay Devarakonda in February.

Cocktail 2 Teaser was attached with Dhurandhar The Revenge paid preview shows. Meanwhile, the cast adds to the hype. Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna headline the film. Together, they promise a fresh dynamic. The story explores love, friendship, and modern-day relationships. Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain have written the film. Homi Adajania directs it. So, expect a mix of nostalgia and freshness. With a strong ensemble at its core, Cocktail 2 is quickly emerging as one of the most anticipated romantic dramas of the year. Moreover, the team has locked June 19 as the release date.
