The drug probe emerged from Sushant Sigh Rajput’s death case is currently under investigation by the Narcotics Control Bureau. For the same, the NCB had summoned actresses like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh and questioned them about their drugs usage and relation to Sushant.

Deepika was questioned about her chats with her manager Karishma Prakash that apparently had the mention of ‘maal’, ‘hash’ and ‘doob’. The actress had explained to the NCB officials that it does not relate to drugs.

According to a report by ETimes, talking about the actresses being interrogated an aNCB official said they all denied smoking let alone using narcotics, “They said they don’t even smoke cigarettes.”  When Deepika and Karishma were asked about the terms in their Whatsapp messages, both the ladies said that they were referring to hand-rolled cigarettes. It meant one thick and another thinner, both called ‘hash’ and ‘weed’.

Earlier, it was said that the NCB feels Deepika and Karishma were tutored about their answers as they matched quite a lot. They were nervous initially and there was also some silence in the beginning. But as the questions rolled out they began to speak.

It is said that Deepika will be summoned once again by the NCB as they were not happy with her answers. Deepika has also accepted to the drug chats with her manager Karishma Prakash.
