Dhadak: Shahid posts a heart-warming message for Ishaan on latter’s 1st day of shoot

Today, it’s a big day for newcomers Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor as the shooting of their Bollywood debut film ‘Dhadak’ has kickstarted. Indeed, making this day more special for Janhvi, her mother and versatile performer Sridevi accompanied her darling daughter on the sets, for the first day of shoot. And now there’s a post which truly makes us feel the bonding of love and care shared between Ishaan and his elder brother and actor Shahid Kapoor. The actor shares a special bond with his half-brother Ishaan and is extremely close to him.

Many would be aware that before ‘Dhadak’, Ishaan had made his debut (as an leading actor) with an international project titled ‘Beyond The Clouds’. And when the shooting for this Majid Majidi directorial started, Shahid had made his way on the sets to be with his brother Ishaan. The actor quote-retweeted Karan Johar, and said,  “and when did he grow up. Didn’t even realise.”

For the ones who wouldn’t remember, Shahid and Ishaan have earlier shared screen space together as the onscreen chacha-bhatija in the 2005 released ‘Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!’. Further, Ishaan has also assisted filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey on his film ‘Udta Punjab’ which starred Shahid in the lead role.

Talking about the film ‘Dhadak’, it is directed by Shashank Khaitan and is slated to hit the screens on July 6, 2018. It also marks the debut of Janhvi Kapoor, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter. The movie is a remake of critically and commercially acclaimed Marathi movie ‘Sairat’.
