Dhurandhar 2: Ranveer Singh’s Hamza To Clash With Arjun Rampal’s Major Iqbal In Sequel? Teaser To Release On THIS Date

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar is showing no signs of stopping its rampage at the worldwide box office. Released on December 5, the Ranveer Singh-led spy action thriller has been successfully running for over 50 consecutive days in theatres, grossing over Rs 1000 crores domestically. As the release date of the sequel draws near, all eyes are fixed on what it has to offer and when its teaser will be release.

Well, we have an update. As per a recent report, the makers have zeroed in on a release date for the teaser of Dhurandhar 2. Not just that, the report also teases what in store with regards to the clashes set to take place in part 2. Scroll below to know the information.

Dhurandhar 2 To Feature Clash Between Ranveer Singh & Arjun Rampal’s Characters

As per a recent Reddit post, Aditya Dhar is looking at releasing the teaser of Dhurandhar 2, this Saturday, January 31. Alongside this update, the post also revealed that the upcoming film’s plot will feature Arjun Rampal’s Major Iqbal as the main antagonist. The upcoming film will see major clashed between Ranveer Singh’s Hamza and Arjun’s character.

The Reddit post read, “There is a lot of chatter on Dhurandhar 2 teaser and those who have seen it say RANVEER IS THE REAL EFFING DEAL. He is in absolute beast mode—ferocious, raw, and brutally intense—and his backstory pulls it forward as the son of the country. Acting at its peak. While Akshaye’s character Rehman dies as the bad guy after all the viral jazz, Arjun’s character is the next villain in the story that Ranveer’s character faces. Whoever has seen the parts is already surprised… The detailing and shift in Ranveer’s character is mind-boggling. A monster on the big screen and now, he’s got the Lyari king aura. Oh man!”

The post further noted, “Arjun will be badass and unforgiving, while Hamza stays the centre of it all through both parts now as constant. This time, he is not scared or silent, as Major is his next target. Dhar is cooking a huge one and Ranveer is the biggest surprise, while Arjun will challenge him but Ranveer kills it. Most 31st Jan is the teaser now, but let’s see (What a hottie both are, but Ranveer was the daddy in part one).”

About The Film

Just like the first part, Dhurandhar 2 is written and directed by Aditya Dhar. The spy action thriller is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya and Lokesh Dhar under the banners Jio Studios and B62 Studios. Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film will also see Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun reprise their roles. Akshaye Khanna will likely have a cameo appearance given that his character passed away in the first part.

Talking about its release, Dhurandhar 2 will clash at the box office with Yash starrer Toxic. Both films will release in theatres globally on March 19.
