She is seen dressed as a nurse, portraying an Indian spy in Pakistan, but with a surprising twist—the name tag on her uniform reads ‘Shazia Bano’, which was the name of her character in her 2025 hit Haq.

Her cameo is brief but pivotal—a hospital scene where she kills one of Hamza Ali Mazari’s key targets, who was receiving treatment. After delivering a single line of dialogue, she swiftly kills the patient, then looks at Ranveer Singh’s character standing at the door, nods, and leaves.

It’s important to note that her role was not an extended or crucial appearance as some reports suggested. Instead, her cameo was a quick, blink-and-miss moment. While she did help eliminate one of Hamza’s targets, her overall role in the plot is limited. To understand her character and the broader story, viewers will need to watch Dhurandhar: The Revenge in theatres.

Interestingly, earlier reports implied her cameo might connect to Uri: The Surgical Strike. However, Yami’s character in Dhurandhar 2—Shazia Bano—was actually the same as her role in her 2025 film Haq.
