Speculation about their wedding had begun circulating late Sunday night, fueled by clues on social media. Raj’s ex-wife, Shyamali De, had added to the intrigue when she posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram stories: “Desperate people do desperate things,” prompting widespread speculation. The couple had divorced in 2022, according to reports.

A source told HT City that the wedding took place early Monday at the Ling Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Centre. The ceremony was intimate, with approximately 30 guests in attendance. Samantha was seen wearing a red saree for the occasion.

Rumours of Raj Nidimoru and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s growing closeness had been gaining momentum since early 2024. Over the past year, Samantha had openly shared pictures with Raj on her social media accounts, signalling their relationship. Over the past few months, the two have been spotted several times at gyms and pickleball sessions in Mumbai, sparking rumours of a potential romance. However, this post seems to have confirmed what many had already speculated — Samantha has found love again, this time with her director of The Family Man 2.

Samantha-Raj’s Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Samantha recently began shooting for her upcoming Telugu film Maa Inti Bangaram, alongside Gulshan Devaiah. The film, produced by Raj Nidimoru, Samantha, and Himank Duvvuru, marks her reunion with director Nandini Reddy after their blockbuster Oh! Baby (2019).

Separately, Samantha and Raj are also collaborating on a web series titled Rakt Brahmand. It will feature Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jaideep Ahlawat.

Previously, Samantha was married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple separated after four years of marriage, and Naga Chaitanya has since married actor Sobhita Dhulipala.
