Emraan Hashmi, Disha Patani To Shoot In Bangkok For Month-Long Schedule For Awarapan 2- Report

The much-awaited sequel to Awarapan is finally taking shape, with Awarapan 2 officially starting its shoot this week in Bangkok. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, who returns as Shivam, and Disha Patani, who joins the franchise as the female lead. The movie is being directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Bhatt.

According to Pinkvilla sources, Emraan and Disha will be filming in Bangkok for an intense 30-day schedule, which will cover more than half of the movie. The entire conflict of the story unfolds in the city, and the team plans to shoot at real locations to keep things authentic.

Vishesh Bhatt is also focusing heavily on the film’s music, working with top composers to deliver a memorable album. Music played a big role in the success of the first Awarapan, and the makers want to recreate that magic again in the sequel.

After wrapping up the Bangkok schedule, the cast and crew will move to Mumbai for the next phase of the shoot. The aim is to complete filming by January 2026, giving the team enough time for post-production work. The makers have already locked in the release date Awarapan 2 will hit theatres on April 3, 2026, during a major holiday weekend.
