Emraan Hashmi, known for blending intensity with romance like no other, brought his trademark wit to the trailer launch of Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web today. As expectations naturally ran high about romance and music—two elements closely associated with the actor, Emraan addressed the curiosity with humour, leaving the room in splits. Read on to know what he said and more about the much-awaited Netflix series.
Emraan Hashmi On Romantic Songs In The Show
Speaking at the trailer launch, Emraan candidly revealed a funny moment from the early days of the show. “Actually pehli baar jab maine narration suna tha, tab maine Neeraj ji se kaha tha, ‘isme please har episode mein ek gaana daal dijiye,’” he shared. However, the request didn’t quite land the way he expected. “Unhone ‘Get out’ bol diya mujhe office se, and I thought I would lose the show. But theek hai, gaane ke bina kaam chala lenge,” he added, drawing loud laughter from the audience.
Keeping the banter going, Emraan jokingly turned to the journalist and asked, “Background music bada accha hai isme, usse kaam chal jayega?” When met with an enthusiastic yes, he quipped, “Arrey toh phir aap bohot khush rahenge. Is show mein bohot hi badhiya background score hai,” earning applause from the crowd.
When the inevitable question about a signature Emraan Hashmi-style love story came up, the actor didn’t disappoint. Responding in his inimitable fashion, he said, “Do khoobsurat ladkiyan hain yahan pe, aap kaisa sawaal pooch rahe ho? Of course, love story hoga. Main hoon aur love story nahi hai, aisa kabhi nahi ho sakta.”
