Rakhi Sawant’s legal trouble does not seem to come to an end. The starlet came under the scanner when she compared Mika Singh to Saint Valmiki. Followers of Saint Valmiki lodged a complaint against her citing that she has hurt their religious sentiments. A warrant was passed against the actress by Ludhiana Court. Following this, Rakhi Sawant had applied for an anticipatory bail, but as per reports, the Punjab court has rejected the bail.

A report in a new agency states that the Ludhiana Court has rejected the anticipatory bail application of Rakhi Sawant and has issued a fresh warrant against the actress as she failed to appear in the court for hearing. Judicial magistrate Vishav Gupta posted the matter for September 5. As per her lawyers, she could not make it to the hearing as she is in USA. Her lawyers have now moved an application in the court of district sessions judge Gurbir Singh seeking an extension of the bail.

The district sessions judge had granted bail to Rakhi Sawant on August 5 with a condition that she would surrender on August 7. As she failed to do so, Ludhiana court issued a fresh warrant. Earlier, Rakhi had rendered ‘an unconditional apology’ for the same. She had stated, “I never meant to hurt anyone. However, if I did it in ignorance, I seek an apology from the people.” Once in her justification she had also stated, “I just gave an example from what I have read in my childhood. Just like Valmiki, who got changed from being a robber to a saint, Mika ji also has changed. It was just an example.”

Let’s see what happens next in this case.
