Sources suggest that Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani were filming a song at Victoria Square, Birmingham, with hundreds of background dancers. The shoot attracted onlookers, many of whom captured and shared clips on social media. Among these viral videos, Genelia was spotted on location. While her presence initially seemed casual, fans assumed she was simply visiting her husband, Riteish. Attention soon turned when she was seen rehearsing dance steps in costume and later participating in the shoot, hinting at a potential cameo appearance.

Genelia’s Return To Masti Franchise

Genelia’s association with the Masti franchise dates back to the first film in 2004, where she starred opposite Riteish. If her cameo is confirmed, it would mark her return to the series after nearly two decades. Although this may be her first appearance in the franchise since then, she has previously made special cameos in her husband’s Marathi films, such as in the songs “Aala Holicha San” in Lai Bhaari (2014) and “Dhuvun Taak” in Mauli (2018). The couple also shared prominent roles in the Marathi drama Ved, Riteish’s directorial debut.

On the professional front, Genelia was recently seen in the Bollywood film Sitaare Zameen Par alongside Aamir Khan, which performed well at the box office.
