Govinda, Sunita Ahuja Quash Divorce Rumours With Vibrant Ganpati Dance- Watch

Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, recently put an end to divorce rumours by coming together to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi as a family in Mumbai. Despite months of speculation about their marriage, the couple looked happy as they joined their son Yashvardhan Ahuja for the Ganpati visarjan on Thursday, August 28.

The videos shared on social media showed the family taking part in all the rituals. Govinda and Sunita were seen singing bhajans, while their son Yashvardhan performed the final aarti before the idol was taken for immersion. In another clip, the family chanted “Ganpati Bappa Morya” together during the procession.

Sunita danced with joy during the visarjan, and both she and Govinda were seen enjoying the moment. The couple seemed united and cheerful, brushing aside all breakup rumours.

Sunita Ahuja took to Instagram and shared photos from their home celebration. One picture showed her posing with Govinda in front of their beautifully decorated Ganpati idol. Another photo included her mother, actor Manisha Koirala, and their son Yashvardhan.

Sharing the pictures, she captioned the post as “Ganpati Bappa Morya” along with heart and folded hands emojis. Govinda and Sunita have celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi for years, always making it a special occasion with close friends and family.

Their public appearance this year is especially significant, as recent reports claimed that Sunita had filed for divorce in December 2024, accusing Govinda of adultery and cruelty. However, the couple’s happy celebrations seem to deny these claims.

Govinda and Sunita have been married since March 11, 1987, and have two children, Yashvardhan and Tina Ahuja.
