Govinda’s Manager Breaks Silence On Attack Reports; Dismisses Criminal Intent Rumours, “He Keeps Receiving Threat Calls”

Govinda’s manager has revealed that the actor has recently been receiving multiple death threats. He recounted a recent incident where unidentified assailants nearly targeted Govinda at his own residence, but the actor managed to escape unscathed because he had a gun and his phone with him. While Sinha did not specify the exact incident, he also mentioned that Govinda was recently injured in an act of self-defence.

Govinda’s Manager Reveals Actor Chased Attackers With A Gun

Shashi Sinha, Govinda’s manager, told ANI, “He keeps receiving threat calls. Thank God he had a gun with him when he was attacked. He chased everyone away, or who knows what could have happened. I rushed to him around 4 am. We also filed an FIR, and we have a video of what transpired that night.”

Govinda Going Bankrupt?

Rumours claiming that Govinda is going bankrupt have been circulating on social media for the past few months. These rumours gained further attention after he was seen hiring a taxi to go to the airport recently. However, his manager has now clarified that this was simply because private cars were not permitted on the premises. “Govinda doesn’t just have one car; he has many. The claim that he’s bankrupt and begging around is completely baseless,” said Shashi Sinha.

He also addressed the speculation that Govinda is performing at schools and private events to support his declining finances. “That’s his profession! It doesn’t mean he’s gone bankrupt,” Sinha told ANI. “If he doesn’t take care of his family, who will? He continues to support his wife and kids,” he added.

What Happened To Govinda?

Although Sinha did not specify which incident he was referring to, he highlighted that Govinda was recently hurt while defending himself. For those unaware, Govinda made headlines in 2024 after accidentally shooting himself while cleaning his revolver. Though the police ruled out foul play, rumours and speculation about the incident circulated widely.

In a heartfelt voice note recorded from his hospital bed, Govinda assured fans that he was recovering well. He expressed gratitude to his supporters and the medical team for their care and support.
