Gunshots Fired At Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe For 2nd Time In A Month; Shocks Locals

Kapil Sharma’s cafe in Surrey, Canada, called Kap’s Cafe, was hit by gunfire for the second time in less than a month. The latest shooting happened early in the morning on Thursday, August 7, 2025. The cafe is located near 85 Avenue and Scott Road.

Kapil Sharma’s Canadian Cafe Attacked 2nd Again

Police arrived around 4:40 a.m., and although staff were inside, no one was injured. The reason behind the shooting is still unknown, and police have asked the public to come forward with any information.

Residents were frightened by the sound of gunshots. One resident, Bob Singh, said he saw and heard the shots from his patio. Another local, Michelle Gaucher, said she heard eight loud gunshots and sirens shortly after.

A post on social media, allegedly by gangster Goldy Dhillon, claimed responsibility for the attack and warned of more violence, possibly in Mumbai. The post mentioned that Goldy Dhillon and Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang were behind the incident. However, this claim has not been confirmed by authorities.

Kapil Sharma and his team have not released a statement yet. Meanwhile, fans have taken to social media, expressing shock and concern. Many are questioning why a comedian like Kapil would be targeted.

This is the second time Kap’s Cafe has been attacked. The first shooting happened in July, just days after the cafe opened. It remained closed for ten days. After reopening, the cafe shared a message about standing strong and continuing to spread warmth and community through their space. The repeated violence has left locals and fans deeply concerned.
