Hera Pheri 3 Paresh Rawal

Hera Pheri 3 has remained one of the most talked-about Bollywood projects ever since its announcement, but not always for the right reasons. The film has faced multiple hurdles, from reports of Paresh Rawal exiting the project to legal tensions involving co-star Akshay Kumar. At one point, reports suggested that Kumar had filed a Rs 25 crore lawsuit against Rawal following his alleged departure. However, the situation did not escalate further, and the issue was resolved amicably, with Rawal returning to the franchise and Kumar withdrawing the case.

Paresh Rawal DISMISSES Delay Reports Of Hera Pheri 3

Amid ongoing speculation around delays, Paresh Rawal has now set the record straight. Dismissing rumours about the film being stalled, he said, “It is coming soon, don’t listen to anything.”

In the same conversation with Moneycontrol, while speaking about reuniting with Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan for Bhooth Bangla. Rawal also highlighted the ease of working together, adding, “Insecurity kisi ki nahi hai; Akshay (Kumar), itna bada star hone ke baad bhi, insecurity nahi hai. Koi meri peeth mein chura maar dega, aisa kisi ko nahi lagta hai. Araam se kaam hota hai and with honesty. And all the actors under Priyan Ji’s (Priyadarshan) guidance and direction are very generous and charitable towards each other. Toh chemistry banti hai woh bahut hi accha banta hai.”

The Hera Pheri franchise began with Hera Pheri (2000), followed by Phir Hera Pheri (2006), and continues to enjoy a massive fan following. The third instalment is currently under production, with Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty returning to reprise their iconic roles as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, Raju and Shyam.

Paresh Rawal will also share screen space with Akshay Kumar in Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. The film will realese on 17 April.

Despite renewed momentum, Hera Pheri 3 has faced multiple hurdles, from Paresh Rawal’s reported exit and a Rs 25 crore lawsuit by Akshay Kumar’s production house to ongoing rights disputes involving Firoz Nadiadwala. The issue even reached the Madras High Court over copyright claims. Frequent script changes, casting shifts, and rumours of writer exits further delayed the film, though recent clarifications and Rawal’s statement suggest it is now back on track.
