EXCLUSIVE: Himanshu Malhotra Calls Shershaah Co-Stars Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani ‘Warm And Kind’; Recalls, “When I Met Him…”

After being a part of several TV shows, Himanshu Malhotra starred in some popular films and his claim to fame was Shershaah. The film was a tribute to Captain Vikram Batra’s valour and starred Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. Apart from career success, the actors also found love on the sets and are now in the best phase of their life. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Himanshu Malhotra opens up about shooting with Sidharth and Kiara.

When asked about shooting for film, he shares, “Shershaah was a beautiful experience. I think shooting in Kargil, real locations and with ensemble of Sidharth, Kiara, Nikitin, everything was so nice. It was a massive budget film, Dharma produced it, and what else could you ask for. It was a blessing I would say as no one has pointed out single bad thing about film to date. And I remember, I met Sidharth after that while he was shooting for Mission Majnu and I was on a different project set nearby. When I met him he shared how he is getting respect after Shershaah which he didn’t get previously. He also established himself as a wonderful artist and he worked very hard.”

Praising the actors, he shares, “They are adorable. I remember Kiara was very warm and even Sidharth was kind. We were shooting the funeral sequence in Palanpur where everyone was crying and the scenes were happening. And in between shots, Kiara and Sid were there, we were chatting and even clicked pictures. Both of them were very warm and kind. And I think that comes from that part of personality, who they are. They come from this civilized culture and backdrop where they treat people with love and respect.”

Talking about Sid-Kiara, they got married on February 7, 2023, in a private ceremony at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The couple recently announced their pregnancy and are all set to embrace parenthood now.
