Ayesha Takia receives threatening messages, husband seeks police help

‘Wanted’ actress Ayesha Takia, her sister-in-law and mother-in-law have been receiving threatening messages. Ayesha’s husband Farhan Azmi took to the social media to inform the Mumbai Police about a litigant who has been stalking, harassing and threatening his wife, mother and sister in a series of tweets.

A source close to the family told timesnownews.com that the litigant got Ayesha’s number and has been messaging her telling she and her husband will be in jail very soon. He has also threatened Farhan’s sister who is seven-months pregnant.

Azmi informed that it is being done by a litigant in an ongoing case. He has also accused a senior official of ignoring all his calls and messages and also blocking Ayesha’s account. Ayesha’s husband has also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in his tweet to seek help.

In another tweet, Azmi wrote:

Later, Farhan informed that he has received a call from the Joint Commissioner of police and also thanked him for helping him.

He wrote, “Thank you @DevenBhartiIPS Ji #MumbaiPolice for stepping in. I trust the Mumbai Police. 3 rotten apples cannot spoil #theappletree@CPMumbaiPolice @MumbaiPolice.”

As per TOI reports, Farhan Azmi was accused of cheating by his former business partner, Kashif Khan. The man had even lodged an FIR with Bandra Police.
