Lisa Ray takes a jibe at Salman Khan for his "raped woman" comment

The chaos around Salman Khan’s “raped woman” comment that sparked off a major controversy are just not ready to leave us as yet. Actress Lisa Ray has vocally expressed her views on this matter and taken a jibe at the actor. Since the controversy, Salman made his first public appearance at the ongoing 17th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) gala in Madrid. He did not extend any apology, but said it is better if he talks less.

Lisa took to twitter and posted a morphed image from the IIFA press conference with Salman addressing the media with stars like Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Tiger Shroff, Farhan Akhtar and Sonakshi Sinha standing besides him. In the image, faces of all the stars except Salman were swapped with that of monkeys with hands on their mouth.

Here’s the tweet from Lisa Ray:

It all started when Salman Khan said during a media interaction that he felt like a “raped woman” walking out of a ring in his role as a wrestler in his upcoming film ‘Sultan’. Although, he did say later that he shouldn’t have said that way and explained that he found it hard to walk, but our b-townies are playing it safe by staying mum.
Only a few celebs like Kangana Ranaut and Anurag Kashyap came forward to express their views without any inhibitions. Salman’s father Salim Khan too defended his son by saying that Salman meant no wrong when he said he felt like a “raped woman”, but apologized on his behalf.
