Shirish Kunder‘s recent flick ‘Kriti’, which is caught in a legal battle with a Nepali filmmaker who claimed that it’s a copy of his own movie, has crossed three million views on YouTube. The filmmaker is quite excited with the response.

Shirish took to Twitter to express his joy and tweeted,

The movie that was banned on Youtube is back after the copyright issues were finally put to rest as the makers of BOB were unable to provide evidence against the makers of ‘Kriti’. Now the producers of the film have sought to claim Rs 5 crore in a lawsuit against the team of BOB for damages.

The makers have now decided to churn out a full-length film or a web series on the Manoj Bajpayee, Neha Sharma and Radhika Apte starrer.

Kunder said, “‘Kriti’ was never treated as a short film. Since the inception of the idea, we have always thought of it as a full-fledged feature film and put a lot of efforts in it.Today after millions of people watching it and film getting global audiences from places like Brazil, Poland, Egypt, Israel, and many more countries, Muvizz.com and I have decided to double out efforts and showcase more of ‘Kriti’ to our audiences through the format of a web series or a feature film.”

The thriller was released on June 22, and has been wowing viewers ever since.
