Hrithik Roshan is all set to make his directorial debut with Krrish 4. The news was announced by Rakwsh Roshan a few days back. Now, Hrithik confirmed directing Krrish 4 and expressed how he is nervous and needs encouragement for the same.

During an event in Atlanta, USA, hosted by Sophie Choudry, Hrithik Roshan was shown an old picture of himself behind the camera. Describing the photo, the actor said, “This was during a film called Koyla. That was the first time I did something behind the camera. I directed the making of Koyla. And now I am going behind the camera again. Good luck to me.” When asked to confirm his directorial debut with Krrish 4, Hrithik said that the audience already knows it. “They already know it,” he said, as the crowd cheered for him. He further added, “I can’t tell you all how nervous I am, I’ll need all the encouragement I possibly can get.” Check out the video below!

Earlier, Hrithik’s dad and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan took to Instagram to announce that he would be directing Krrish 4. Sharing a picture with him, he wrote, “Duggu, 25 years ago I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 years you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers—Aditya Chopra and myself—to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar, with good wishes and blessings!”
On the work front, Hrithik is gearing up for YRF’s War 2 this year. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also stars Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. It is set to release in theatres on 14th August.
