EXCLUSIVE: Hussain Dalal Calls Late Irrfan Khan ‘Finest Actor Of Our Times’; Says, “He’s An Absolute Hero”

Hussain Dalal, an Indian writer, dialogue writer, and actor, is widely recognised for his work in films like 2 States and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. He also penned the dialogues for Karwaan, directed by Akarsh Khurana, which was amongst the final films of late actor Irrfan Khan. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Hussain opened up about his experience working with Irrfan Khan and expressed his deep admiration and affection for him. Hussain Dalal Recalls Working With Late Irrfan Khan

Working on Karwaan as a dialogue writer, when asked about his experience with Late Irrfan Khan, Hussain Dalal said, “He’s an absolute hero. He’s also my friend. We had a great equation. And also that film (Karwaan) is made by my closest friend, Akarsh Khurana. Jinhone yeh film co-direct ki hai, Akarsh Khurana, woh mere mentor hai. Main unke saath theatre karta tha. Abhi bhi karta hu. Toh woh film bohot personal hai humare liye. Khaskar woh Irrfan bhai ki last kuch filmon mein se hai. So it was very tough, and Irrfan bhai was the finest. He was the finest actor of our time. Matlab aap aksar ek picture dekhte ho aur lagta hai yaar isme irrfan bhai hote toh kha jaate. Kisi bhi cheez mein. Koi bhi picture utha lo. Toh, that film has a very special place in my heart.”
